How long do braces have to be worn?

What happens when my braces get put on?

For traditional braces, the whole process usually only takes about 45 minutes to an hour. Dr. Kimbrough will begin by polishing your teeth and priming them for the bracket adhesive. Next, he will apply the bonding glue, apply the brackets, and seal them in place. Lastly, once the brackets are all set, he will apply your archwire and secure it in place. Pretty simple right?

What happens when my braces get removed?

Dr. Kimbrough will use his tools to gently loosen and remove all brackets and wires. Once the equipment has been removed, any excess adhesive will be gently scraped off. Lastly, he will polish your teeth to ensure that they are completely smooth and ready to shine. Your perfect smile is now complete!
